Ingredients

Ingredients

50 ml Bourbon whisky or non-alcoholic distilled spirit
5ml grapefruit juice, or juice of ¼ lemon
30ml black cherry juice or 20 ml tart cherry juice and 1 teaspoon black cherry syrup
10ml sugar syrup
ice 2 dashes Angostura bitters
fresh black cherries
grapefruit peel

Preparation

  1. Method

    Step 1

    Pour the whisky, juices and syrup into a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice. Add the bitters.

    Step 2

    Shake well for 5-10 seconds.

    Step 3

    Pour into a tumbler over rocks of ice and garnish with fresh cherries and some grapefruit peel.
